“Riches and honor come from you, and you rule over all. In your hand are power and might and it is in your hand to make great and to give strength to all. And now, our God, we give thanks to you and praise your glorious name.” (1 Chronicles 29:12-13 NRSV)
So much to be thankful for! And because there’s much for us to be thankful, let us remember that our obligation and responsibility as beneficiaries of God’s blessings is for us to be a blessing to others. In a world that is so divisive, let us remember that we show God’s power and we give Him thanks by our actions towards others.
